This Black Coral Jade freeform is formed through a slow natural process in which ancient coral structures are gradually replaced by jade-like minerals over time. This mineralization preserves the strength of the original coral while transforming it into stone, resulting in a material that bridges organic origins and geological permanence. The piece features deep charcoal to inky black tones with clear impressions of the once living coral. It’s polished freeform shape highlights smooth curves and a dense, sculptural quality.
