Description
A warm-toned stoneware plate featuring a single carved branch that arcs across the surface in a loose, circular gesture. The fine sgraffito detailing of each leaf contrasts with the soft, open space at the center, creating a quiet balance between movement and stillness. Variations in the glaze settle into the carved lines, highlighting the organic rhythm of the branch while allowing the clay body to remain visible beneath.
The composition suggests a natural bend rather than a rigid form, as though the branch has grown into its curve over time. Subtle shifts in tone, from pale cream to deeper amber, give the surface a gentle depth that changes with light and angle.
