Description

A dreamy pink moss agate sphere with exceptional depth and translucency. Wisps of pale pink and white moss-like inclusions drift through smoky, glass-clear chalcedony, punctuated by threads of rust-red, like a landscape suspended inside the stone. The high polish makes the interior read almost three-dimensionally, with windows of clarity opening onto denser, cloud-like zones. Every angle offers a different scene, which is exactly what collectors look for in moss agate.

Moss agate isn't true moss, the organic-looking tendrils are dendritic inclusions of minerals such as manganese and iron oxides that grew in branching patterns as silica-rich water solidified into chalcedony. Pink moss agate's softer palette comes from iron-tinted inclusions, and the contrast between clear and included zones records successive stages of the stone's formation.

Moss agate is known as a stone of new beginnings, growth, and abundance, with a grounding, nature-connected energy. The pink variety adds a gentle heart-centered quality, calm, compassion, and emotional balance, making it a soothing piece for bedsides, desks, and quiet corners.

Note

All crystals and ceramic works offered by Atelier Lithic are inherently unique. Variations in size, colour, surface texture, and form are natural and should be expected.

Crystals are natural materials formed in the earth and may include surface irregularities such as natural fissures, internal veils, growth marks, contact points from where the crystal was attached to the host rock, or areas where the specimen was mined or extracted. These features are part of the crystal’s natural formation and are not considered defects. Defects are disclosed within the item description.

For crystals:

  • When a listing includes numbered options (for example, 001, 002, etc.), each number corresponds to a specific crystal shown in the photos. Selecting a number means you will receive that exact crystal.
  • When a crystal is shown as a group or range and sold as a quantity of one without numbered options, the images represent examples of what is available. You will receive one crystal, selected from the group, with natural variation.

For ceramics:

  • All ceramic pieces are one of a kind. Unless otherwise stated, you will receive the exact piece shown in the listing photos.
