Pink Feather Calcite from Hubei Province, China
Description
This is a large and visually striking specimen of pink feather calcite from Hubei Province, China, known for producing some of the finest feathered calcite formations. The crystal displays dramatic, radiating blades of calcite layered in dense, sculptural growth, with soft blush to pale pink tones that are especially rare at this scale. Feather calcite is already uncommon, and specimens of this size with strong structural integrity, balanced formation, and cohesive colour are increasingly difficult to source. The piece presents with excellent dimensional depth and presence, making it a true collector-grade statement mineral rather than a decorative accent.
Calcite is often associated with clarity, amplification, and energetic movement. In cluster form, calcite is thought to radiate and disperse energy outward, making it a stone often placed in shared or central spaces. The feathered, radiating growth of this specimen is said to enhance circulation of energy, supporting openness, emotional balance, and gentle clearing. Pink calcite, in particular, is traditionally linked to compassion, emotional healing, and calm, bringing a soft, stabilizing quality to the otherwise powerful presence of a large cluster.

Note
All crystals and ceramic works offered by Atelier Lithic are inherently unique. Variations in size, colour, surface texture, and form are natural and should be expected.
Crystals are natural materials formed in the earth and may include surface irregularities such as natural fissures, internal veils, growth marks, contact points from where the crystal was attached to the host rock, or areas where the specimen was mined or extracted. These features are part of the crystal’s natural formation and are not considered defects. Defects are disclosed within the item description.
For crystals:
- When a listing includes numbered options (for example, 001, 002, etc.), each number corresponds to a specific crystal shown in the photos. Selecting a number means you will receive that exact crystal.
- When a crystal is shown as a group or range and sold as a quantity of one without numbered options, the images represent examples of what is available. You will receive one crystal, selected from the group, with natural variation.
For ceramics:
- All ceramic pieces are one of a kind. Unless otherwise stated, you will receive the exact piece shown in the listing photos.
