Description

A soft, romantic pink flower agate tower with carnelian from Madagascar. Blush-pink chalcedony carries drifts of tiny white and cream "blossoms" through the polished stone, the plume formations that gave this material its cherry blossom nickname. Warm bands of translucent orange carnelian glow between the flowery zones, adding depth and a sunset warmth to the palette. The tower cut carries the pattern up every face, and the piece stands on its own as a gentle statement for a shelf, desk, or altar.

Flower agate is a recent discovery, first found in Madagascar in 2018, and it exists nowhere else. It formed as silica-rich fluids seeped into cavities in volcanic basalt, where tiny plume-like inclusions of chalcedony blossomed within the hardening agate, creating the suspended floral scenes seen here. Carnelian, an iron-tinted chalcedony, crystallized from the same fluids, which is why the two so often flow together in a single stone.

Flower agate is known as a stone of growth, manifestation, and blossoming into potential, linked to the heart and root chakras. Carnelian adds vitality, creativity, and confidence. The combination is popular with anyone nurturing a new project, chapter, or version of themselves.

You will receive the exact tower photographed.

Note

All crystals and ceramic works offered by Atelier Lithic are inherently unique. Variations in size, colour, surface texture, and form are natural and should be expected.

Crystals are natural materials formed in the earth and may include surface irregularities such as natural fissures, internal veils, growth marks, contact points from where the crystal was attached to the host rock, or areas where the specimen was mined or extracted. These features are part of the crystal’s natural formation and are not considered defects. Defects are disclosed within the item description.

For crystals:

  • When a listing includes numbered options (for example, 001, 002, etc.), each number corresponds to a specific crystal shown in the photos. Selecting a number means you will receive that exact crystal.
  • When a crystal is shown as a group or range and sold as a quantity of one without numbered options, the images represent examples of what is available. You will receive one crystal, selected from the group, with natural variation.

For ceramics:

  • All ceramic pieces are one of a kind. Unless otherwise stated, you will receive the exact piece shown in the listing photos.
