Description
A single, perfectly radial spray of creedite needles, exploding outward from a pale lavender core to clear, glassy tips, giving it a striking sunburst or urchin form. The contrast between the soft violet centre and the water-clear needle tips gives the cluster real dimension and sparkle, perched cleanly on its pale tan matrix with nothing else competing for attention.
This specimen comes from the Qinglong Mine (Dachang Mine), in Qinglong County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou, China, the world's premier locality for creedite. While Qinglong is best known for dense botryoidal clusters, this radial spray form is a distinctly different and less common habit from the same deposit, making a clean, single, well-formed example like this a genuine standout for collectors who know the material.
Creedite is traditionally associated with expanded awareness and open-mindedness, believed to lift stagnant energy and encourage a shift in perspective.
