Description
This Raw Pink Tourmaline displays elongated, naturally striated crystal growth with soft to vivid pink tones running along its length. The surface retains its original texture, with vertical ridges characteristic of tourmaline’s prismatic structure. Subtle variations in colour, from blush to deeper rose, reflect changes in trace elements during formation. Unpolished and unaltered, it holds a strong, directional presence in its natural state.
Pink Tourmaline is a variety of Elbaite that forms in granite pegmatites, where mineral-rich fluids allow crystals to grow in long, columnar shapes. The pink colour is caused by trace amounts of manganese within the crystal structure. These crystals typically grow in pockets, developing sharp edges and parallel striations as they extend outward from the host rock.
Pink Tourmaline is often associated with emotional clarity, compassion, and openness. It is thought to support self-acceptance and grounded connection to the heart.
