Strawberry Quartz with Dolomite & Pyrite – Jiangxi, China
Description
A charming strawberry quartz cluster with dolomite from Dongxiang County, Jiangxi, China. Milky quartz points rise in tiered rows, each termination glowing with fine red hematite suspended within the crystal itself. The "strawberry" effect that gives this material its name, deepening to rich rose at the tips. Crowning the upper crystals, snowy wreaths of white dolomite drape like frosting, and tucked at the heart of the piece sits a small brassy pyrite cube, a bright metallic accent among the pinks and creams. The palette reads soft and confectionary, but every element is entirely natural.
The quartz crystallized from mineral-rich hydrothermal fluids, and as it grew, fine particles of hematite were captured inside the crystal, concentrating in the outer growth zones near the terminations, which is why the colour glows from within rather than sitting on the surface. Dolomite followed as a later generation, crystallizing in creamy rosettes along the upper points, while pyrite grew from the same metal-rich fluids. Jiangxi's Dongxiang deposits have become one of China's most beloved modern sources for these multi-mineral combinations.
Strawberry quartz is associated with self-love, gentleness, and emotional healing; a softer, heart-centered take on quartz's clarifying energy. Dolomite adds calm and balance, and pyrite a note of protection and confidence: a naturally harmonious trio for bedrooms and gentle spaces.

Note
All crystals and ceramic works offered by Atelier Lithic are inherently unique. Variations in size, colour, surface texture, and form are natural and should be expected.
Crystals are natural materials formed in the earth and may include surface irregularities such as natural fissures, internal veils, growth marks, contact points from where the crystal was attached to the host rock, or areas where the specimen was mined or extracted. These features are part of the crystal’s natural formation and are not considered defects. Defects are disclosed within the item description.
For crystals:
- When a listing includes numbered options (for example, 001, 002, etc.), each number corresponds to a specific crystal shown in the photos. Selecting a number means you will receive that exact crystal.
- When a crystal is shown as a group or range and sold as a quantity of one without numbered options, the images represent examples of what is available. You will receive one crystal, selected from the group, with natural variation.
For ceramics:
- All ceramic pieces are one of a kind. Unless otherwise stated, you will receive the exact piece shown in the listing photos.
