Description
This 8th Vein Ocean Jasper specimen features saturated coral and salmon-toned orbs set against deep green and cream matrix, with exposed crystalline pockets along the lower edge. The natural druzy quartz cavities add texture and contrast, while the orb patterning ranges from tight clusters to larger, defined circular formations. The surface remains raw, preserving the natural structure and crystal-lined interiors.
Ocean Jasper is sourced exclusively from Madagascar, with the 8th Vein being one of the later and more limited veins discovered. Each vein produces distinct colour palettes and orb structures, making vein identification important for collectors. This material formed in silica-rich volcanic environments, where mineral deposits filled cavities and solidified into the orbicular patterns that define Ocean Jasper. 8th Vein pieces are known for strong contrast and druzy inclusions.
