Description
A clear, well-formed goshenite crystal, the colorless variety of beryl, rising from a natural albite feldspar matrix, accented by silvery flakes of muscovite mica. The hexagonal beryl habit reads clean and precise against the pale, granular feldspar, while the mica's soft sheen adds a quiet reflective texture. A restrained, linear piece with a strong sense of clarity and order.
This specimen comes from the pegmatites of the Shigar Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. This is a region known for the aquamarine and morganite pulled from the same pocket chemistry, making a clean goshenite from this ground a rare find.
Goshenite is traditionally associated with clarity, clear sight, and purification, believed to cut through mental fog and support honest, focused thinking.
