A rare and high-quality fluorite specimen composed of densely clustered crystals with a fine, “sugar-like” surface texture. The formation displays soft blue to lavender tones, with subtle variation across the piece that gives it depth without overpowering its overall calm presence. The tightly packed crystals create a matte, velvety finish that contrasts with occasional reflective faces, adding quiet visual complexity.
This specimen comes from Zhejiang Province, a region known for producing fluorite with distinctive druzy formations and refined coloration. These pieces form as layers of small crystals grow over a base structure, resulting in the dense, textured surfaces characteristic of “sugar” fluorite.
Fluorite is often associated with clarity and focus, and is said to support organization of thought while bringing a sense of calm to a space.
