Description
A shallow, elongated bowl carved from pale lavender amethyst. Soft violet clouds move through translucent quartz, interrupted by deeper geometric zones where the original crystal structure remains visible. Subtle internal fractures and veils create depth beneath the polish, giving the piece quiet dimension.
Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz, coloured by trace iron and natural irradiation during formation. It grows in geodes and hydrothermal veins, often developing distinct crystal zoning that remains visible even after carving. Its colour can range from the faintest lilac to saturated violet.
Amethyst is often associated with calm, discernment, and measured thought. Its cool tone symbolically reflects clarity with restraint. It is also known to help promote sleep, so this could be a nice addition to your bedside table.
