Description

A striking mineral composition featuring deep purple fluorite cubes scattered across a field of milky quartz candle formations. The fluorite crystals display strong zoning, with darker indigo-violet cores and lighter edges that reveal the classic cubic geometry of the mineral. The contrast between the sharp, glassy fluorite cubes and the softer matte texture of the quartz creates a visually balanced and highly dimensional specimen.

The base of the specimen is formed by elongated milky quartz crystals. These upright, parallel growths create a sculptural foundation that allows the fluorite crystals to sit prominently across the surface. Specimens from Inner Mongolia are known for this distinctive pairing of quartz candle growth with richly coloured fluorite, forming pieces that are both structurally dramatic and mineralogically interesting.

Fluorite is often associated with mental clarity and focus, while quartz is widely regarded as an amplifying mineral. Together they are commonly used in spaces intended for concentration, study, or creative work. The geometric fluorite and the luminous quartz base create a piece that feels both structured and energetic, making it well suited as a focal mineral display.

Note

All crystals and ceramic works offered by Atelier Lithic are inherently unique. Variations in size, colour, surface texture, and form are natural and should be expected.

Crystals are natural materials formed in the earth and may include surface irregularities such as natural fissures, internal veils, growth marks, contact points from where the crystal was attached to the host rock, or areas where the specimen was mined or extracted. These features are part of the crystal’s natural formation and are not considered defects. Defects are disclosed within the item description.

For crystals:

  • When a listing includes numbered options (for example, 001, 002, etc.), each number corresponds to a specific crystal shown in the photos. Selecting a number means you will receive that exact crystal.
  • When a crystal is shown as a group or range and sold as a quantity of one without numbered options, the images represent examples of what is available. You will receive one crystal, selected from the group, with natural variation.

For ceramics:

  • All ceramic pieces are one of a kind. Unless otherwise stated, you will receive the exact piece shown in the listing photos.
