Description

This raw seraphinite specimen is composed of soft, radiating clusters that form delicate, rosette-like blooms across the surface. Fine, fibrous structures fan outward from each point, creating a feathered texture that catches the light with a subtle silvery shimmer. The layered greens and reflective surfaces give the piece a sense of depth and movement, almost as if the mineral is unfolding.

Seraphinite is a variety of clinochlore most commonly found in the Lake Baikal region of Siberia, Russia. It forms through metamorphic processes, where mineral-rich environments allow these fibrous, mica-like structures to develop. The signature sheen seen in this piece comes from the alignment of these fine internal crystals, creating its characteristic luminous, wing-like appearance.

Seraphinite is often associated with renewal, growth, and gentle transformation. Its feathered structure is said to symbolize lightness and forward movement, making it a mineral many are drawn to during periods of change or personal evolution.

Note

All crystals and ceramic works offered by Atelier Lithic are inherently unique. Variations in size, colour, surface texture, and form are natural and should be expected.

Crystals are natural materials formed in the earth and may include surface irregularities such as natural fissures, internal veils, growth marks, contact points from where the crystal was attached to the host rock, or areas where the specimen was mined or extracted. These features are part of the crystal’s natural formation and are not considered defects. Defects are disclosed within the item description.

For crystals:

  • When a listing includes numbered options (for example, 001, 002, etc.), each number corresponds to a specific crystal shown in the photos. Selecting a number means you will receive that exact crystal.
  • When a crystal is shown as a group or range and sold as a quantity of one without numbered options, the images represent examples of what is available. You will receive one crystal, selected from the group, with natural variation.

For ceramics:

  • All ceramic pieces are one of a kind. Unless otherwise stated, you will receive the exact piece shown in the listing photos.
