Description
This Ultra rare clear petroleum quartz point displays exceptional clarity with suspended inclusions and striking red petroleum veining running through the upper termination. The contrast between the transparent quartz and red enhydro petroleum creates depth and visual movement.
Petroleum Quartz is a variety of quartz that contains trapped hydrocarbons within fluid inclusions formed during crystal growth. As silica-rich solutions crystallized, pockets of organic material became sealed inside the quartz structure. Under UV this specimen displays a striking green glow. Material of this clarity with visible petroleum inclusions is considered very rare and highly collectible.
Petroleum Quartz is often associated with vitality and activation. It is believed to carry a dynamic energy that supports momentum, creativity, and forward movement.
